GoCardHub is a mobile application developed and operated by AutomateCore ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing transparency about how information is accessed, processed, stored, and shared when you use our application.
GoCardHub helps users scan business cards, organize professional contacts, create digital vCards and QR codes, generate compatible Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, and export contact information.
Our core business card scanning and contact management features operate locally on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains our data practices and your choices when using GoCardHub.
Depending on the features you choose to use, GoCardHub may access or process the following information:
Business Card and Contact Information
When you scan or manually enter a business card, the application processes:
- Names and job titles
- Business and organization names
- Phone numbers and email addresses
- Business addresses and websites
- Business card images and extracted text
- Custom tags, event folders, and contact notes
Google ML Kit On-Device OCR: Google ML Kit is used for on-device optical character recognition (OCR). Business card text recognition runs locally on your hardware. Scanned images and extracted contact text are never transmitted to a central OCR processing server.
Camera and Media
GoCardHub requests camera access to scan business cards. If you choose to import a business card image or upload a company logo, the app accesses only the specific photo files you select.
Contacts
GoCardHub requests access to device contacts only when you explicitly tap to save an extracted card into your phone's native address book. The app never uploads or syncs your phone's address book.
Notes and Voice Features
If you use text or voice note features, content is recorded and stored locally on your device in SQLite application storage.
Profile, QR, and Wallet Pass Information
When creating a digital vCard, branded QR code, or Wallet pass, you may provide profile information (name, contact details, company, logo). This information is processed locally to render your digital cards and QR codes.
Purchase Information
GoCardHub uses RevenueCat to manage non-consumable lifetime purchases. RevenueCat and the app marketplaces (Apple App Store / Google Play) process technical purchase metadata (such as an anonymous user ID, transaction status, product ID, and OS platform) to verify purchases and restore entitlements. We do not process or store payment card details.
Information accessed or processed by GoCardHub is used strictly to:
- Recognize and extract business card information locally.
- Create, edit, organize, and search contact records on your device.
- Render local vCard QR codes and high-resolution digital business cards.
- Generate digital Apple Wallet passes and Google Wallet links.
- Export contact data (CSV/VCF) or deliver user-configured webhooks upon request.
- Validate store purchases and restore paid features.
- Provide user support upon request.
Our Privacy Commitment: We do not collect your contacts, sell contact databases, or use your data for advertising.
GoCardHub operates on a local-first architecture.
All scanned card data, notes, tags, and profiles are saved locally in an on-device SQLite database. Core app functions—including scanning, editing, searching, and QR generation—work entirely offline.
Uninstalling the app permanently removes its local SQLite database, unless you have exported your contacts or saved them to your native device address book.
GoCardHub integrates with select third-party services to deliver specific functionality:
Cloudflare Workers (Stateless Wallet Pass Signer)
When you tap "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet", your active profile payload (e.g., name, title, contact details) is sent to a Cloudflare Worker service solely to generate signed Apple Wallet .pkpass bytes or a Google Wallet save link.
This service is 100% stateless. It processes the request in memory, issues the signed pass/link response, and immediately discards the payload. It does not store user profiles, track usage, or write data to external databases.

Outbound Webhooks (User-Configured)
GoCardHub allows Pro and Team users to configure outbound webhooks (e.g., sending events to n8n, Make, Zapier, or custom servers).
- Data Ownership & Third-Party Endpoints: When you add a webhook URL, GoCardHub transmits contact and event payloads directly to the third-party URL you provided. We do not own, control, or monitor third-party webhook endpoints.
- User Responsibility: Data sent via outbound webhooks becomes subject to the privacy practices and retention policies of the third-party destination service you choose to integrate. AutomateCore retains zero copies of webhook payloads on any server.
You retain full control over data export and sharing:
- File Exports: Exporting CSV or VCF files places files into your local file system or share sheet.
- QR Codes & Digital Cards: Any profile information embedded in a QR code or shared image can be read by anyone with whom you share it.
We protect user privacy by keeping core contact processing strictly on-device, minimizing network operations to essential features, and employing stateless server architectures where network interactions are necessary.
You are responsible for securing your physical device using system passcodes, Face ID, or Touch ID.
- Local Data: All contact data, notes, and photos reside on your device. You can delete individual records or clear app storage at any time through the app or system settings.
- External Services: Stateless services (Cloudflare Pass Signer) retain no user data. Purchase transaction records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat in accordance with financial regulations.
You can grant or revoke the following permissions via device settings at any time:
- Camera: Required for optical card scanning.
- Contacts: Required to save contacts directly to your phone’s address book.
- Photos / Media: Required to import card images or profile logos.
- Microphone: Required for recording voice notes.
GoCardHub is a professional productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published within the app and on our official website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
